About

Dr. Reese is an experiential learning entrepreneur, passionate about facilitating learning through games and experiences. Previously, she is semi-retired from a 33-year career with the U.S. Department of Defense. Beginning her career as a linguist, she soon moved into management and leadership. She experienced a large-scale organizational change in the mid 1990’s that sparked an ongoing interest in change leadership and individual leadership transformation. Toward the end of her career, she focused on leadership development and mentoring. As an additional duty, she organized and facilitated the presentation of a unique simulation-based leadership development course from 2008-2015.  She developed an adaptation of that simulation for leaders seeking an enterprise-level view of organizational dymanics.  Dr. Reese is also a leadership coach and holds an ACC certification from the International Coach Federation. Assessment certifications include Lectical assessments (LDMA, LRJA), and Emotional Intelligence EQi-2.0. Dr. Reese has been a member of NTL Institute since 2017 and contributes to several of its hubs and initiatives. She served as adjunct faculty for The Chicago School’s campus in Washington, D.C., primarily teaching systems theory. She has a BA in French language and literature from Western Maryland (now McDaniel) College, an MA in Linguistics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an MA and PhD in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University.  She lives in Maryland with her husband and has two adult sons.
