Dr. Deat LaCour is an internationally recognized Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, author, and executive coach with over two decades of experience in applied behavioral science, organizational development, and diversity strategy. He currently serves as Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at BlueHalo, where he leads enterprise-wide initiatives to foster inclusive workplace cultures and drive performance through evidence-based practices.

Dr. LaCour has held academic appointments at American University and Towson University, and served as Dean of Complex Change at the NTL Institute of Applied Behavioral Science. His research and consulting work span Fortune 100 companies, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations, with a focus on climate and culture transformation, strength-based inclusion, and systems-level change.

He is the author of Diversity Training: Expand on Strengths or Minimize Deficits, and a frequent keynote speaker at global forums including Nanzan University in Japan and the Indian Association of Applied Behavioral Science. A member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Dr. LaCour is known for designing tools to address underperforming inclusion tactics and for advancing data science applications in organizational psychology.
