About
Born and raised in the West Indies, Dr. Lennox Edmund Joseph works internationally as a change management authority, organizational strategist, educator, executive coach, and organizational leader.
With over thirty-five years’ experience in coaching, advising, administration, consulting, training, and the education fields, Lennox is recognized for affecting the “managerial mind” of corporations and forging new frontiers in organizational development, strategy development and implementation, systems change, leadership, and management development.
Lennox has worked across full profit corporations, not-for-profit organizations, universities, volunteer, and community associations. He has been on loan to governments administrations, appearing on their negotiation teams, advising with their strategic renewal efforts, post-conflict situations, redevelopment struggles, urbanization plans, and aligning them with community stakeholder interests. He has worked in Afghanistan, Africa, Brazil, the Caribbean, China, Cyprus, Europe, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Middle East, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, and the USA, and is a qualified expert witness in discrimination cases for the Washington, DC Superior Court.
Lennox’s academic background (BA, PhD) is in social psychology, management, organizational behavior, and organizational development. His professional positions include the Organizational Development and Effectiveness Advisor of The World Bank Group (Washington, DC), twice President and CEO of NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science (Alexandria, VA), and President and Chair of the Board of Directors of The Lewin Center for Social Change (Columbia, MD). His Adjunct Faculty teaching has occurred at The American University (Washington, DC), The Said School of Business (Oxford University, UK), and the University of Chichester (West Sussex, UK).
Lennox has received several awards and honors among his most esteemed being recipient of the Herman Stein Award from his alma mater, Case Western Reserve University (OH), for his contributions to International Social Change, and the first ever honoree by the Trinidad and Tobago Human Resource Management Association for his work with the Trinidad government in HR and with their 1990 Parliament hostage crisis. His latest publication, The Art of Strategic Change (Joseph, Lennox E. and Fremion, Daniel A. Eds, NTL Institute 2024 applies current OD theory and practical support to those developing, planning, managing and implementing strategic changes in a modern world. Personally, Lennox’s calling is to generate high impact outcomes that liberate the human spirit, ensure organizational healing, and transform companies, organizations, institutions, neighborhoods, and communities. He considers himself a life-long educator and a student of power dynamics, organizational issues, and social systems. He currently resides in Brussels, Belgium.
